Career Management Center (CMC)

IBS has its own Career Management Center, which operates under the overall guidance of a coordinator who heads a team of managers and executives, to work towards better placements every year, at the campuses

The main objective of the CMC is to enhance the placement prospects of IBS students. CMC personnel visit potential employers in various companies and apprise them of the ample talent available at our business school. Over the years, they have developed strong relationships with more than 4,000 companies all over India.

Last year, more than 400 companies have recruited students from IBS. There has also been a steady increase in the number of companies recruiting from IBS every year.

The CMC organizes various activities such as guest lectures, pre-placement talks and workshops, which give opportunities to the industry as well as the students to interact with each other. Apart from academics, the students are given career counseling and training in soft skills, and are also exposed to group discussion practice sessions and mock interviews prior to the final placements. The CMC also focuses on :

A Collaborative Effort

The entire placement exercise is a collaborative effort between IBS and the students. While IBS provides guidance and support through extensive networking with potential employers, the students have the responsibility of making the best possible efforts to obtain suitable placements.
